33 RPM – Apple Music Management Made Easy

Love your music selection on Apple Music but wish you could get more out of your library? You need to download 33 RPM! It takes your music library to a whole new level, making it a fun place to share music, learn about your preferences and your friends’ likes and dislikes.

33 RPM is an app for just about an iOS device you can think of, with the restriction of needing 11.0. So, you can see it’s pretty new. You also need to have an Apple Music set up, too to get the most out of the app.

The app acts like a cool window into your music library. You can create playlists, add to them, mark certain songs as favorites and more. You can then share and connect with other users and even learn more about the music they love listening to. It makes for a great way to learn about new pieces and expand your auditory repertoire!

Not only is it a window, it also tracks what you listen to, how often you listen to it and categorizes these actions to help list your favorites and to gathering information on your taste in music, so that it can offer up a new selection of music and songs to try out.

As part of the download of the app you will be asked to enter your Apple id so that you can create an account. What really impressed me was the cool backdrop of black. It made everything stand out and easy to find.

The app is broken up into three areas, plus an area to setup and update your Profile. These areas can be accessed using the icons at the bottom of the screen.

First, there is My Music. This is where you can access your music library, make playlists, update playlists, mark songs and music as favorites, find new music and add it, as well. From here the magic of 33 RPM also comes to life. You get to see the top most listened to songs along with how many times you’ve listened to each Today, This Week and This Month. It also shows you the albums you’ve listened to the most.

This is also where the tracking feature comes into play. 33 RPM keeps track of how often you listen to each song, what type of song it is, have you shared it and how often. All of this information then gets digested by the app to create suggestions for new listening experiences.

Next, there is Timeline. This shows you what you’ve listened to over time. This can be by days or weeks, however which way you want to view your listening habits. It’s kind of cool to see what you’ve been listening to during which days. There tends to be pattern to that. Think more party and fun music on weekend evenings, and more sober calming music in the mornings of weekdays.

Finally, there is the Discover area of the app, which uses information gathered by the tracking machine to find and offer you different pieces of music and songs that it thinks you might like or could like based on your preferences, what you have listened to frequently, and more.

Overall Social Media comes into play because you can share what you like and what you don’t like at a song level or even at an album level. You can even post your likes and dislikes of what friends have offered as their favorites.

Seez R – Find Cars, Like Them, Then Buy Them

Car buying is never number one on anyone’s list of fun things to do; yet, when you need to, you have to go through the headache of figuring out what you are willing to spend, what kind of car you want that fits in your budget, and finding the right one, without settling for less.

There are apps out there that catalogue and share cars for sale. Many of them end up being at dealerships. Each of these apps require a lot from you as the user in terms of making decisions and entering criteria that the app will then use to list options for you to consider.

Seez R is different. It’s your personal car buying agent. The app uses the latest in artificial intelligence technologies to help you understand your requirements, define them and then uses them to scour its scope in search of all possible options.

By using image recognition, chatbots and more, you find purchasable possibilities and get connected to sellers instantaneously, so you can ask all the questions you need to find out more about a potential deal.

Right now the app works in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and certain areas of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). But rest assured that the app’s scope will grow with time.

Seez R featured

So, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. If you know what type of car you want, you can snap a picture of it or enter data about it. Seez R takes that info and performs an exhaustive search to offer you a multitude of option. As you peruse these options, if you find something you like and have questions, simply engage the seller in a chat session and learn more. If you are ready to move on to the next step of negotiations, Seez R takes care of that as well.

If you are not so sure of what you want, you can check out the Hot Deals. This may give you some idea of what’s out there and help steer you in some direction. Maybe you are not even in the market right now, but a screaming deal may just get you the car that you are dreaming of.

Let’s face it, it’s not easy to know every single deal that’s out there. Seez R comes incredibly close to making that happen through the power of technology and social media.

I would have one suggestion to the creators to make the app better. The screens where you see lists of cards seems crowded. There is also a lot of empty space that could be used more efficiently. I would like to see a bigger picture of the car and have the verbiage be stacked over to the right side.

Outside of that, using the app is extremely easy and provides information you would otherwise not find on your own. Seez R makes finding the right car and easy adventure.

An Optimal and Fun Way to Stay Fit – Thai Kickboxing Workout: Beginner

Exercise is essential to keeping well, but sometimes we can get bored with the workouts we do. It’s so important to change up your exercise regimen to thwart the onset of boredom and eventual abandonment of exercise altogether.

If you are in search of a new and fun exercise routine, then I highly recommend giving Thai Kickboxing Workout: Beginner a try. It’s an app that you can download on your iOS device and use wherever and whenever works best for you.

That is the number one asset to the app, that you can take your workout with you. You don’t have to attend a class or try to fit a class into you already hectic schedule.

The app is intrinsically designed to be easy to use, and it most certainly is. Its focus is to be of value to all people, of any age. So, your whole family can use it, even grandma! The instructions are well laid out and take you step by step through each routine. The videos are also presented in such a way as to give you a sense of being in the same room with the instructor, so you can see the moves from different angles and be able to mimic them.

Thai Kickboxing featured

Once you download, you can go straight to the videos, but I would recommend reading up on the app to learn how to work your way through the videos. This app is meant for beginners and newcomers to Thai kickboxing, so following in the intended order of lessons will help you get the most out of this app without becoming annoyed.

The videos have been created by Edge Brown in his own world renowned studio in San Francisco, Gym 445. Each video lesion has been captured from different angles and the app shows two at the same time, so you can easily see what Edge is doing and how he does it, so you can follow.

Lessons include the basics in Thai kick boxing mixed with other exercises such as effective jump roping techniques, routines in plyometrics, and shadow boxing.

The entire layout of the app and ease of use makes it even more fun to use. Some apps tend to have too much going on, which detracts from the main goal of the app, to help you get fit.

I especially liked the introduction to the app and how he eases you into the exercise routines. There is great guidance on how to pace yourself, so you don’t overdo it and become entirely turned off to this revolutionary fitness experience.

If I could change anything in the app it would be to add the ability to set some goals and track them from within the app, and maybe get reminders to keep me on track.

If you are looking for a new workout that is highly effective, fun, and something you can get the entire family involved in, Thai Kickboxing Workout: Beginner is the app to download and share!

Music Messenger Makes it Easy to Share YouTube Songs

We all have loads of songs that are our favorites and videos we love to watch on YouTube, but when you come across one that you absolutely have to share with your best friend, you are stopped short in your tracks, because it’s just not a straightforward task to perform in YouTube.

Now, take Music Messenger. It’s been out for some time, but took a break for a while. In its initial run, most people loved what it had to offer. It makes sense of YouTube by providing a superb search engine from which to explore and find songs you know and love, and to make new discoveries.

It’s a music player of sorts, but feeds off of what is already in YouTube, so in a nutshell, it allows you to dig around in YouTube and then pull out what you like, save it, and store it in a way that makes sense to you, so you can find it again and so you can share it.

The sharing is the big game changer with Music Messenger. While YouTube does not make it easy to share, Music Messenger does.

When you download and set up your Music Messenger account, it will ask for permission to access your contacts list. You will have to say yes if you want the app to be able to send to friends. On your end, you will need to provide a phone number. While the app does not specifically say which phone number, I would assume it to be your cell phone number, otherwise, anything else would not make sense.

The one feature that sets Music Messenger apart from just using YouTube is that you can customize messages that you send to friends. These customizations include screen shots and verbiage. It adds some zing to a message that would otherwise just be a link to song. Creating these messages is as easy as using the entire app. It’s all right there at your fingertips.

Music Messenger

To start using the app, you most likely are going to use the Search and Explore function. From here you can type in keywords to look for song based on words in the title or artist or genre. If you would prefer narrowing down your choices, you can go into either the Trending list or Charts list. From here your searches are just taps into areas that are defined.

After finding songs you like, you can add them to existing or newly created playlists. These playlists are something that will coincide with your YouTube playlists, as well.

Once you’ve built up songs and playlists, both can be shared. You can send individual song or full playlists to people on your contacts list, and package them up nicely with a customized messaging format. I thought this was really neat and all of my friends really like it as well.

What I would like to figure out is how to make sure that all of my iOS devices have the same set of playlists and songs as I have setup on my iPhone. I have been doing everything from the iPhone, but I’m not even sure if I will see the same things on my iPad.

I am sure that is a supported feature, and I’ll have to tinker around with the Music Messenger to figure it out. Until them, I am going to take full advantage of the app to make using YouTube an easier experience for me. I am also looking forward to making more customized messages to send out soon!

Feline Finder Finds the Right Feline for You

If you are in the market for a pet and you know you want a cat or a kitten, but don’t know what steps to take to get there, consider downloading Feline Finder. It’s an app that allows you to search for cats and kittens that have been rescued and need a loving home. The beauty of the app is that it allows you to enter data about yourself and what you are looking for in a cat, so when you make your final choice, you are getting a pet that works well with you.

Oftentimes, people are oblivious to the characters of animals, but believe me, they have them. If your character does not work well with your pet’s character, only bad things will happen. You will have difficulty training that animal and it will not end pretty.

Using Feline Finder, you can be assured that you will be making an educated decision. The app has a survey that allows you to answer a bunch of questions. This helps the app narrow down the list of possibilities for you. It will also only list possible candidates based on your location, unless you state otherwise.

If you’d rather go straight into searching for a cat, you can skip the survey. Some folks already know what kind of cat they are looking for, and know what type of temperament will coexist with theirs.

The app does a great job of listing details about each breed. When you find a cat, you can view its details. Things like: General Information and Breed. For General Information, it gives you type of cat, the size, the age, sex and whether or not it’s been spayed or neutered. The details include information about its breed, as this has great bearing on its temperament. On the General Information page for a cat, you will also find easy access to the phone number of the rescuer, so you can set up a meeting if you want. You can also share this information with others, so you can get input and help when deciding.

I wanted to go back to the survey, because I thought that was key to using this app, even if you think you already know what you are looking for. Take the survey was extremely easy, and made me really think hard about what kind of cat would really work for me, based on the questions I was answering. If it were not for these questions, I may have based my decision solely on looks!

I’m not really certain there’s much you can do to improve the app, except to make it easier to chat or interact with the rescue center directly from within the app.

For now, Feline Finder is a really app to use if you are looking for a cat to adopt and want to be sure you are making the right choice. Not only will you find a friend, you may even get to know yourself better.

NeoDefense – Space Age Strategic Defense Game

A new mission-based battle game has been unleashed. neoDefense is a game that tests your strategic savvy and quick reflexes. It’s based in a world where new life has emerged and it’s your job to protect and defend it from creatures that invade in waves.

With a small initial cost to download, you get a lot of bang for your buck. As soon as you download the game, I would highly advise on selecting the Settings icon, looks like a gear, to set the music and sound effects volumes to your liking.

Next, if you are not as adventurous as other gamers, then the Help icon will be your next stop; look for the icon with the question mark on it. This takes you to YouTube where you can view a tutorial on basics behind the game.

Once you have finished this, you can start gaming. At first, you will only have one game available to you, called “The Entry.” Once you have mastered this game the app opens up more games and challenges that you can participate in.

The app has about three sets of 15 games, Alpha, Beta and Gamma. After these sets, there are about 8 more sets that are yet to be developed and launched.

When you start a game, you will see your little sprout of life placed somewhere on the playing grid. From there, you will see the invaders start to come. The initial game shows them as little red arrows. The bottom of the screen shows the defense mechanisms you have at your disposal. Simply drag and drop your defense mechanism to the location on the grid you feel will best defend your sprout of life in the best possible way. The initial game shows only a single path on which the invaders will travel, so your defense strategy will not have to be so complicated.

As you move forward in game challenge, you will see more complex grids and invasion techniques that will test your wit and quick reflexes. You have only so much time before the invaders gain access to or approach the sprout within firing range, and you need to place your cannons, towers and more in the right locations to prevent them from winning.

Every win provides you with more sophisticated defense armaments, so your techniques can grow with each increase in difficulty. This paired with sharp graphics and a pumped up soundtrack keep you going.

I would say that the only aspect of the game I did not like is that it was not very clear on how to play. I had to watch the tutorial video several times before I got an idea on how to play and even then, I failed several times. I found it difficult to figure out how to fire my cannon and take out the enemy.

After several tries, I did succeed and then started to enjoy the game, looking forward to the next set of invasions. NeoDefense is a game that players of all ages will like.

Fennex – Amplify and Intensify all Audio Experiences

We work and play almost everywhere; but, sometimes that can get to be a nuisance when you are trying to tune into a conference call while driving or while sitting in a café. Meetings can’t be missed, but you don’t want a miss a thing being said, either.

Unless you have those clunky Bose headphones on, you are not going to be able to hear what you need to hear to make sense of it all. That’s when you need to enlist some tech help from an app that helps filter out what you don’t want to hear and helps amplify what you should be hearing.

Fennex is the name of the app and augmented hearing is what it provides, using special techniques in volume customization, balancing, compression identification and more, to make what you want to hear exactly what you hear, and nothing else.

I should impress upon you that this is not intended to be a replacement for a hearing device nor does it take the place of any medical device that would be needed for those who have hearing issues.

To start, download the app on your device, be it your mobile or iPad. Then you can adjust settings for other audio outlets, such as your car or your particular brand of ear pods, so that the sound is customized for that media and for the setting in which you are in (e.g., your car, walking outside, your home office, in a public eatery, etc). These adjustments can be found on the Settings area of the app.

To use the app, you open it up when you are ready to engage in a meeting or phone call. Once you hear sound, you tap on the central button to make adjustments. This is the Hearing Test portion of the app, and it calibrates the app to work its best every time you use it. Based on what’s going on around you and the amount of sound you want to filter out, you continue to tap and make adjustments to suit your needs.

It is that simple to use.

If you have created certain setting for particular types of environments, you can save them and select them for use elsewhere.

You are essentially identifying and defining how you want to hear the sounds around you, based on the current time and place. The controls are simple and intuitive, which makes this a great app for anyone.

While the app works with all types of hearing devices, the app creators do recommend using Apple hearing devices to best results. What makes the app work very well is its ability to allow you to focus in on which microphone you want to stress: iPhone bottom, iPhone front, ones that are built into your earphones, or externals.

I think it would be nice to have the app work well with all types of hearing devices, as not all iOS device users have or use Apple Pods.

After using it at work, I can truly say that Fennex has been a true blessing, helping me focus on my work and not get drawn into conversations taking place all around me. I look forward to using it more often so I can keep working from wherever.

Phonics the Right Way – LETTER FREE PHONICS

If the English language was purely phonetic, then teaching it through the use of phonics would make all the sense in the world. However, it is not phonetic. There are so many rules and exceptions to them, that it’s easy to see why kids get confused when learning how to read. You literally are memorizing how to say the words merely my recognizing it a symbol rather than by sounding out each letter.

To learn phonetics the right way, you need a system that works on sounds, not just the letters. Because we all know that certain letters have certain sounds in some words and a different sound in others. That’s where LETTER FREE PHONICS becomes your best friend.

It starts kids off by learning the beginning sounds of words, so they create a strong connection between the letter and its sound. By doing this in a gaming format, the work being done is not considered work, and the child retains so much more as several more neural paths are engaged as each new word appears.

There are four different types of games included in the app, which add to the variety and keeps kids interested. Each games helps children master the primary sound of each letter, so they are able to use that when reading text.

Letter Free Phonics app reviews

Games one and two introduce letter sounds in the format of solving various types of puzzles. As the user moves puzzle pieces from one location to another to complete an image, the sound of the first letter of the name of the image will sound out. For instance, if the final puzzle will show the image of a dog, then every time a puzzle piece is moved the app will sound about the “d” sound.

Game number three offers up a sound and the player must then choose from a set of images the one that starts with the featured sound. This adds a twist and a new direction to processing the sound and recognizing how it’s used.

The last game is a little quicker and ups the challenge a bit more. This game will display several images and sounds. The player must drag and drop a token over the image/sound pair.

Careful consideration was taken to ensure the images that are used are ones that youngster would recognize and easily discern. Otherwise, the games would have no meaning.

A very nice feature of LETTER FREE PHONICS is the configurability. You can choose the voice sound to be male, female, or a child’s voice. You can also enable/disable the repeat sound function, which will repeat the sounds, or not. There are other options related to puzzle completion settings and clues that you can set based on what level of challenge your child can handle. The key is to learn the sounds and not be hampered by completing a puzzle.

I would say the only thing different I would like to see soon is an addition of images and puzzles so kids can continue to be challenged. Once completing a puzzle a few times, it’s easy for them to just “know” what the result is going to be and they will lose the ability to learn.

Outside of that, this game is a real lifesaver in terms of tools that help kids learn their sounds and set them on a course for success in reading!
