Most apps today claim to have new features, settings and applications within the app. The battery charger alarm does not do this. I like this app because it is easy to use and worth the download—plus, it is free!
This app contains many unique features. Its main purpose is no notify you when your battery is too low so that you can charge it, and if you are not near a charger, it also has a battery saving setting to hold you over until you do get near a charger. It will also tell you when your phone has finished charging and you can unplug it. If you didn’t know, over charging your phone’s battery can kill the battery too soon, so with the alarm notification on this app, you will know when it is fully charged and then can unplug your phone. Instead of checking constantly whether or not your phone has fully charged, the alarm will tell you and then you can act accordingly.
This app has great settings too that are quite helpful. The app has many features as well. Just like you can choose a ring tone on your phone, you can change the alarm settings too. It has an alarm ringing frequency setting so that you can choose how often it rings, you can control the vibration settings as well. You can also change or control the silent mode settings if you want the alarm to be silent. This comes in handy if you are at work or in a quiet place. You can also control the night mode settings for when charging your phone while you are asleep. It also has a great do not disturb setting if you do not want to the alarm to go off for whatever reason.
A common question with the app is how the night mode works. If you turn the night mode on to activate it, then the alert will not go off or ring between 11 PM and 8 AM. You can use the night mode to stop alarm and battery charging notifications so that your phone does not feel too crowded.
The downside I found with this app is the compatibility with all my devices. It is only available for Androids but when I tried putting it one of my older Android devices, it did not work as well. That should not be too big a problem because people these days have the newest devices available.
