PhoneRescue – Quick and Easy iPhone Recovery

PhoneRescue app

Many of us have experienced the painful and unfortunate series of events that lead to losing all the precious data you have stored on your iPhone. It might have crashed and rendered itself completely unusable or it just resets somehow and deletes all the data. Whatever the case, the end result means you now have to find a way to get it all back, if it’s possible.

With PhoneRescue, it is.

PhoneRescue is available on both Mac and Windows, which supports easy backups and restores of your iOS devices. It not only backs up the data that is on your iOS device, it collects all the data related to each app you have, and backs that up, as well. You get everything you need, so when things go south, you can recover.

The app can be free downloaded and you are free to experience the free trial. Once connect your phones to it by using an USB, PhoneRecue will automatically scan out all data in your iCloud, iTunes, or iOS devices. In addition, you can preview all your lost data here and choose all of them to recover, or, just choose some of them.

There are three types of recovery modes, which enables maximum recovery of files. PhoneRescue knows all of the various types of files that are associated with iOS apps and content and will search the device, iTunes and cloud storage to find all the files it needs to help restore your device to a state before it lost everything. If you are short on time or just want to focus on a particular set of files to backup or restore, you can select that in the process.

Another plus is that the device does not have to be “connected” in order to rescue it. What this means is that you can try to revive damaged devices in addition to devices that are still “working”.

I highly recommend purchasing the full version to be able to use the app for photos and other data. One thing that could be improved upon is applicability of the files that are recovered. I felt like I saw more files than I needed, requiring me to sift through them to determine which ones to select.

Outside of that, PhoneRescue does a decent job of delivering on its promise to get you back up and running should your device experience a catastrophic event, or what seems like one. Give PhoneRescue a try if you like it!
