Bunnies are just a fun kind of creature. Put them in a game, and the entertainment explodes into hours of fun. This new game from Pastille AB will have kids and adults laughing their hearts out as they try to build a tower out of bunnies that fall from the sky. The aim of the game is to build the tower high enough to reach the source of what the bunnies are after – carrots.
The animation kind of reminds me of Japanese anime and the music is quite catchy. When you first download the free app, you will be presented with a short video that shows bunnies falling and being placed, one by one on top of each other, to reach the top of a mountain. The tower of bunnies on top of something that is floating in water. I could not tell if it was a shark or a whale or a large stone; but, whatever the case, the bunnies fall from the sky and it’s your job to tap on what to catch it and strategically place it on the top most bunny that is already on the stack.
While it all sounds super simple, it’s not. I tried several times to create my tower, and always, about 5 to 6 bunnies into the game, I’d lose a bunny and the entire tower would topple. When this happens, all you have to do is press replay and start over!
When I said catch the bunny, there is a tactic to it. You have to tap on it and make sure you see a rainbow appear. Once you see that, you will know this bunny is ready to be placed on the tower. I tried several times just dragging bunnies around, but this produced disappointingly undesirable results.
As you stack up the bunnies you will score points which will help you further your game and help you out when you need more bunnies or assistance in getting to the source of the carrots.
I have to say that if this game is lacking anything, it would only be to describe how the game should be played. It doesn’t even have to be in the app itself – it could be as part of the app description – just so players know what they are getting into and how to proceed.
Outside of that, Bunny Tower was quite fun to play, once I figured out what I needed to do to make my stack. It was kind of funny to watch these round fluffy bunnies fall from the sky and squeal with joy. As for the carrots, I never quite got the hang of what to do with those, but I plan to find out soon!
