Have you been looking for a quality POS system that does not drain your business of costs month to month? Many systems out there require recurring costs and fees, which means you never recover these ongoing expenses. A better solution is to find a system that you can purchase once and enjoy forever. That system is POSiSales.
It’s an app that runs only on iPads, but links easily to commonly used business POS devices like cash drawers and printers. Specifically, Star Micronics printers, all-in-one mPOP cash drawer and printer and the ZEBRA mobile printer are supported. And you can run multiple discrete iPads with the POSiSales app, with each iPad printing to the same printer(s) over a wireless network or Ethernet local area network.
And reports from each iPad can go to the same or a different Dropbox.
POSiSales can be setup to work for one account, but on different iPads located in various locations in your establishment. Think different POS locations. Each product category or service sold can be setup to print to a specific printer, as needed. If you were in a home improvement store, let’s say, then the POS system in the gardening area would be linked to the printer in that zone. POS in the plumbing area would print there, and so on. Same goes for restaurants or any other business that may have different printers for different POS locations.
When setting up POSiSales for your business, you let the app create your customer database, but there is no need to track customers if it’s not required. Then type in your products or services, configure Bluetooth, a wireless connection or ethernet LAN to the device(s) you want your app to connect to. Products can be placed in 40 different categories and each category can group 30 items, making it easy and fast to view and select products, which is another strong POSiSales feature for business owners.
To make a sale, the user selects from the 1200 products and adds them to the invoice; there are up to 100 open invoices that can be selected should you be running under a “Tables” “Jobs” or “Sets” setting. The POSiSales app totals the sale, factors in the tax rate for the country you are doing business in and stores the data for a report to Dropbox that provides line item details, tax collected, profit and payment method.
Customers may wish to split the bill, which is supported by POSiSales. A customer can even receive a quote or “Sales Order” prior to proceeding with a purchase, for example, if dining on a set menu. Once that is all settled, the invoice prints rapidly to close out the transaction. A selection of payment types including cash or credit card is supported by the system and any change due is calculated automatically.
If you are the type of business that might be sending out invoices for later payment, like for services, this is supported in POSiSales. You can create a new invoice once an agreement to provide services is made, and you can add to it until you are ready to send the invoice. Customers will receive their invoice via email, directly from the app.
Data from the day’s sales is automatically consolidated cleanly into a report and sent to Dropbox. You can view it then and there or later on. If using the MINT or Tyro EFTPOS machine, it’s integrated into POSiSales, so the credit card chit can be sent via text to a smart phone.
And of-course there is a Till reconciliation feature that tallies up cash received compared to the Till float.
Should you be changing the majority of your products, or prices, or both regularly, you may wish to export your POSiSales data as a spreadsheet, make the changes first on this spreadsheet format POSiSales provides, then import it, rather than making individual product changes that might take longer.
In general, POSiSales is dead easy to use and frees you up to engage with your customers, so you can create the best possible experience for them. Take their order and then check them out easily, without hassle. So your focus is on the customer, not on the ordering and billing process.
