Everyone has their favorite GPS app. It can be the one that comes preinstalled on your device or one that you found after months of trial and error.
GPS apps are essential on every device, but they are simple. They do one thing, and that’s it.
Goaz is a more intuitive GPS that provides guidance and lets you do something with it. The app allows you to create and save routes into folders, and even share them with others.
Create a folder of the “Best Places to Visit in Chicago” and share it with friends and family.
Make a route for a long road trip and send it to all the drivers beforehand so they know what the best path is and where the caravan plans to stop. You can even choose to share your location.
You can type in any location using a name, address, or even coordinates. Then, choose that as your starting point. Other locations can become stops along the way or the final destination.
If it’s a route you’re planning on taking more than once, save it in a folder or add it to your favorites.
Friends and family don’t even need to have the app to open routes or bookmarks. The information can be shared through Facebook, Twitter, or other social media. Goaz works well with other navigation apps such as:
- Apple Maps
- Google Maps
- TomTom
- Waze
- Gaia GPS
- Garmin
- And more!
Once a map is made, Goaz opens the route in your favorite navigational system.
The app is easy to use and has a clean look. It works around the globe, and makes planning any trip simpler.
The ability to save locations in folders and send them isn’t just for driving around. Trips can be planned using this app, so everyone knows what the plan is and how to navigate a foreign city.
Although I like that the app lets me choose which navigational tool I want to use, I do almost wish it did its own navigating. It’d be nice to have it all in one.
In the end though, Goaz is an invaluable app. No other GPS tool allows such customization and utility.
