As many of you know, finding games on Google play are easy. Finding the right game is not that easy. I spent a lot of time trying out the different strategy and puzzle games and there is only one I kept coming back to. The Bone Dice game is my go-to-game. The aim of the game is to collect 1000 points through different combinations of dice thrown. You play the game with five dice. The dice is the normal six-sided dice and they get rolled and shook around in a wooden bowl with stem, similar to an old-fashioned goblet. The whole game, including the graphics and music, has an old tavern feel to it. Right down to the candle, background sounds, and music.
There is an imitated scroll like score sheet that records the dice combinations thrown by each player. The whole design and feel of the game are relaxed and slow paced. The other problem I did have with the game was the background music and sounds which can sometimes be a little too slow for your mood. That was no problem though as I was able to adjust the settings to my liking. You can adjust brightness, sounds and more from the settings theme without any hassle.
I was able to download the game quickly and once I had it all downloaded I was required to register a profile. I was able to register my pretend profile name and all the details are personalized for online play which I thought was pretty cool. When I log in, my stats are saved, ready to carry on playing. Once you are registered, you have to log in with a username and password. Once you have all the login and setup complete, it is really like playing an online game, you log in, play and do not have to worry about ads or having to purchase anything in order to play. All your focus is achieving the goal of getting the right combinations.
I can play whichever gaming style I choose at the time I log in. I can choose my opponent and can take my chances against the bot or even request to challenge another online player. It is all really a game of chance but also a bit of planning and strategy. You just roll the dice and wait to see how they land. If you get the necessary 70 points which is what you need to start recording the results, the highest roll is the opponent to start off the game. If you do not achieve the 70 points, you just try again.
Let me warn you though, regardless of how relaxing the pace of Dice Online is, you can get pretty worked up while trying to achieve the desired combinations. It is a lot of fun, trying to anticipate what will become of each rolled dice is half the fun. You can also choose to go for higher points but there is a chance that you can actually lose all the points accumulated from that specific rolled combination. If you choose to roll again and lose, you simply go back to the beginning till you have the required 70 points to move forward.
There are so many different dice combinations, which is how you score the points in the game. Each combination has a different name and a certain amount of points allocated to it. I remember the easy ones like a straight combination, which is just like playing cards. Your dice have to roll in order of 1 to 5. The game is fun and although I have played against the bot more often, I have had a lot of fun playing with other online players.
