Membership at a gym used to be the “in” thing. Whether you had one to actually exercise or just to socialize, it was something that almost everyone had, despite the numerous restrictions and contracts you had to put up with.
Now, you don’t have to sign up for anything, except an app.
Esquared is an app that puts you in control of your exercise regime. Whether you are into aerobics, stress training, yoga, dance, interval, cycling, kick-boxing or one of many combinations of all, you will find what you are looking for through Esquared; and the beauty of it is that you can take the classes in different places and without a contract.
What this means to you as a user is that you can find where the best aerobics class is, or where the best yoga session is, and go there for that. Find the provider that has the best, and take advantage of it; because, let’s face it, no single gym can be the best at all of the various types of exercise classes. And, once you sign up for a membership, you are pretty much stuck going there, because who has the cash to pay for the same class elsewhere?
With Esquared you can perform a search for a class or a gym by specifying a location and see what they have to offer. When you find what you need, all you do is reserve your spot in the class or a 2-hr workout session and show up when it’s time. The app itself takes care of the payments through an in-app payment system. Once you made the payment, you’ll get a confirmation code from the app which you show at the gym, and you’re all set to workout.
An added benefit to Esquared is the ability to hook up with the community of fitness minded folks and maybe even schedule to meet up for classes together. Studies have shown that having an “exercise partner” makes exercising more fun and keeps you consistent. It curbs any thoughts of skipping a routine, because you know you have to meet up with your partner. Esquared helps you maintain these partnerings and keeps you on track to meet your fitness goals.
Using the app is a breeze. You can search for locations based on where you are or plan to be when you want to schedule a workout. You can also search by class type. As mentioned earlier, there are all sorts of class types and even new ones you may have not heard of, providing you an opportunity to try out something new. The other added benefit to easily trying out different classes at different places is that you’ll have the ability to find a class that best fits your needs, and once that stops, you can make a change again.
I really couldn’t find it, but it would be cool to rank or rate a workout or gym so you can have some historical data on the different places and classes for yourself or to share with other users.
I highly recommend downloading Esquared if you are looking for a better way to workout that fits your schedule and your needs, without commitments.
