Who doesn’t like using simple, less complicated apps in these crazy days where finding time to have a relaxing cup of tea has become something eventful to wait for? Gone are those days when people wrote long lists of their incomes and expenditure or even kept typing up those figures on long excel spreadsheets with those formulae and other calculations to handle! And yeah, what about the reminder part? You need to get that in your head somehow?
No, here is a solution to all the frustrations that you have been going through all these days and Actfi, the simple and powerful app will take care of all these for you.
It has a very simple interface that even a novice can get their hands on immediately without any complication. Yes, it is very straightforward in the fact that you just answer a few questions that the app asks you and voila, you have it all set up and running. Actfi then takes care of everything after your initial input is complete! It is that simple.
Actfi as two major tabs that you will be looking into at all times: the income tab and the expenses tab.
First time users will be guided through a page where you are given a set of questions to enter your income details like, type of payment, for example your salary or employer name or job title or if it is retirement money, (name it whatever way suits you). You then input how often you receive this payment (one time, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, yearly because this can vary with individuals), then choose if the above amount fluctuates as this varies for hourly paid individuals, last time you were paid (input date), input the amount you got paid and choose whether to have notifications on / off and hit “Go.”
This income now gets added to your Actfi profile. The next part is to add the expenses, as this is what needs to be kept under control and monitored right?
Ok, in order to do that, on the expenses page, describe the expense, input how often it is due, amount due, last time it was due, choose to turn notifications on / off and hit “Go.” That is it, you are good to start using this app. Your financial assistant is all set up and ready to be used.
You can add as many number of income and expenses from these individual pages by tapping the “Add” button on top and Actfi puts the next due date for you based on the last time it was due. You can choose to show past occurrences or not. Also this information can be edited anytime if ever anything changes.
An interesting fact about Actfi is, it not only shows you the income and expenses due, but when you tap on each type of income, it creates a graph in the form of a pie chart that clearly tells you graphically what your expenses and income are along with a little description of the data. This helps you compare side by side where your money goes and how it can be controlled. There is also a suggestion of how much or what percentage of your income can be saved and how.
Personally speaking, a total of the income and expenditure along with net savings could be calculated and shown with net figures carried over to a savings tab, thereby helping users know what is available.
