Dating is not easy. Especially for women. It’s hard to find someone who matches your interests, availability and level of commitment to having a good time. Then, on top of all that, if you are meeting someone blindly, you really don’t know what you are getting into. While there are several apps out there that pair you up with potential partners, none are really designed to work well for women – until now.
Adult Affair Finder – Yboo is an app that all adults can use, but puts women in the driver’s seat. The basic setup is the same as in any other dating app. Both men and women 17 and older can download the app and create a profile. The difference comes into play in what each person is able to see. Men’s profiles can only be seen. Women can choose which profiles can see them.
How is this accomplished, you might be asking right about now? Simple. When a woman creates her Yboo profile, her profile is, by default, invisible to the entire app community. It’s only when she find a profile that she finds interesting and one that she LIKES that her profile becomes viewable, and only to the profile that she LIKED. She basically is giving a key to the person to engage in some online chats and possibly move forward from there. What is important for women to know is that the app emphasizes that “NO mean NO.” I’m not entirely sure how they enforce that, but it is good to know what expectations they set from the get-go.
When a man creates his profile, he must be careful to describe himself well. The descriptions should be clear and well worded. No tricks, no lies, no misconceptions. You talk about what you like to do, what would your ideal date consist of, what you expect out of your date, and more. Then, when the ladies on the app community perform their searches based on what they are interested in, find you and like you, you can initiate a chat to see if you really are compatible. From there, it’s all up to the two of you to make or break your date.
Yboo’s interface is fun and easy to use. There are no complicated setup instructions or anything strange to provide. You simply download and create a profile. Upload a pic, because without it, this app is of no use. Use of the Premium account is free for 7 days. After that, you can sign up for different levels of subscriptions that you find suitable.
I have to say that one thing that is a bit tricky is getting charged the monthly subscription rate if you forget to cancel or remove the app before the initial free 7 days are up. There’s no reminder, so you have to be on top of it.
Fair enough, because it’s an app providing a good service to women. They put women in control of who can view their profile and who can chat with them. That’s very important for truly being able to find a person you can enjoy your time with.
At best this app is useless for the advertised task. None of the several people who responded to me lived any closer than 2000 miles away and some lived farther. How is that supposed to help? There is no way to indicate where you live, except in your model “date” but there is no way to edit that model once you finish it so, if you didn’t think to put your location there (and who would?) your done. I deleted the app and canceled the subscription after 4 days.
At worst, this is scam and the “interested” people (note I am not saying women) are there to get guys to stay on long enough for the free period to expire and be charged. The one person I am chatting with waited all of 2 days to ask me to spend between $50 and $100 on her “son.” She doesn’t use punctuation in her messages, recycles photos and puts the dollar sign after the number.
Avoid this app at all costs!!!
Hi. People are friendly on the site, but I live in South Dakota, so the closest women I’ve seen are over 590 miles from me, and some over 7,000 miles. Ouch.
